RV Packing Guide

Not sure what to pack for your RV trip? The following guide covers the key things you’ll want to bring along for a cozy RV adventure.

For the Living Areas

For your living areas, linens will be needed: sheets, pillows and blankets for every bed, as well as hand towels, bath towels and kitchen towels, along with beach towels. If your RV does not have any curtains, you’ll want to get some to block out light and provide privacy.

For the Kitchen

In the kitchen, you’ll need one set of dishes per camper (plates, bowls, silverware, mug or cup), a bottle opener, a can opener, a cast-iron pan, a slow cooker, a few pots and pans, stirring spoons, ladles and tongs.

You should also have a cutting board and a few sharp knives, paper towels, napkins, a coffee maker, and some dry food staples and spices. Rice, oatmeal, beans, lentils, and salt and pepper should all be kept in air-tight containers.

For the Bathroom

For the bathroom, you’ll need towels and cleaning supplies, but everyone should also bring their own toiletries, including toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a loofah or washcloth, body and face lotion, Q-tips, cotton balls, shaving gear and makeup. You may share some family-sized items like shampoo and conditioner in order to save space. Don’t forget about RV-friendly toilet paper and toilet cleaner!
